Yar'Adua to Inaugurate N5.6bn Treatment Plant

President Umaru Yar'Adua is expected to commission a N5.6 billion water treatment plant in Kano state by December.

The plant is said to be the largest in West Africa.


The treatment plant, built by Kano State government, is located in Tamburawa, near Kano and will boost water supply in Kano metropolis and its environs.

Director of Press to Kano State governor, Alhaji Sule Yau, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in New York.
