House Crisis - Yar'Adua Set to Intervene
A faint flicker of light appeared on the dark House of Representatives horizon yesterday when the Presidency indicated that it was about to intervene to seek an end to the stalemate over the fate of Speaker Patricia Olubunmi Etteh. Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters Mrs Florence Ita-Giwa said yesterday that the President is worried with the development in the House of Representatives and that leaving it unattended to will amount to holding the nation hostage.
