April Polls-Buhari Presents Gazette Disqualifying Yar'Adua

Full blown legal battle to invalidate the election of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua yesterday commenced at the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja with former Head of State, Maj.-Gen Muhammadu Buhari presenting a gazette which disqualified Yar'Adua and Jonathan Goodluck from contesting the April 21, 2007 presidential poll.The gazette indicted both Yar'Adua and Goodluck for corruption.

The White Paper, yet to be admitted as evidence, in the case was issued by Abia State Government on a number of people including Alhaji Musa Yar'Adua and Dr Jonathan Goodluck.
